Strategy:
Louis le Bisque is the very example of a companion that can shine without Relentless, Burst Fire, or Mojo Echo. Out of all the Kraken Skull companions, 4/5 of them cannot learn these talents, but nearly all of them are great companions overall. Louis le Bisque, I would say, is the best out of them all, just because of his Rain of Mortarshells power. He is one of the few, if not the only, companion where he and his Crown Shop counterpart are a bit different. While they are identical companions, Louis le Bisque is recruited on Musketeers, and you should take advantage of that! Towards the beginning of the fight, when the enemy is approaching you, layer one of your bomb powers (preferably Hail of Cannonballs) with his bomb power. When the enemy walks over them, both will activate, dealing double the damage. If they walk over around three of them, they'll be down to around half health before they can even reach you. Then, you can just use your hard hitters to finish them off and start aiming at the next enemy.

Another tactic you can do is using Tempest of Torpedoes after both bomb traps are layered on top of each other. If the enemy is knocked onto one of them, THREE bombs will go off on them. Then, if they try to walk out of it, expect three more! He's not necessarily PvP material, as opponents are likely to just walk around the bombs, but, in PvE, he is a great resource to have. Quick Draw 2 and Overwatch 2 seems to be a good choice of Epics for him. If Musketeer enemies aim for him, he'll be able to get some extra hits in, and Overwatch 2 provides some nice extra range to get even more hits in from afar.

Your goal with him is to chip away at the enemies' health as much as you can before they reach your front lines. He's not a hard hitter, so don't use him like one. Instead, place his bomb power strategically to ensure the maximum amount of damage possible, and make as much use of his Quick Draw 2 as you can!

Pro Tip: His bombs make him exceptional for farming Friar Sand, the common source of gold in Pirate101. Place him as your firstmate so he always joins and layer his bombs with yours. Move a Swashbuckler companion right where the bombs end (with at least one tier of First Strike, Relentless, and Riposte), and, if all goes well, you may just finish the fight in one round!
