Strategy:
Corporal Sanders isn't the best Musketeer companion, as his starting Epic, Return Fire, is nearly useless. Definitely give him Overwatch to start with, and, upon his promotion, you can choose between Double Tap, Parting Shot, and Guaranteed Critical Strike. The Guaranteed Critical Strike power isn't automatically granted to him, but, as his Epic pool is lacking anyway, you can train it if you would like to get some extra damage across for one hit. I would recommend Parting Shot, as it is likely to activate more than Double Tap and Guaranteed Critical Strike can only be used once.

He isn't a solid damage dealer, and he has to rely on the enemy engaging and/or disengaging to really be useful in a fight. Therefore, he isn't quite first page material, but can still be useful if the enemy is constantly moving around. Have him attack a major threat in the fight along with another damage dealer, most likely your firstmate, to drop the enemy faster. If he has Double Tap trained, you can use him to finish off enemies while still being able to attack another one.
