Strategy:

Gracie Conrad, unfortunately, does not have such a great Epic pool. She can train up to Vengeance Strike 2, so it is definitely ideal to her that to start with - if she is attacked by melee enemies, or she attacks one with First Strike or Vengeance Strike, you'll be able to get some extra hits in. Second Chance is always helpful if she misses, and, since she's a Privateer, her Accuracy is not very high. Finally, you can either give her Cheap Shot or Blade Storm. If you want her to be able to finish off enemies efficiently, go with Blade Storm - use her to land finishing hits while your other companions and yourself are hammering away at tougher enemies. Cheap Shot may be better if your firstmate is Bonnie Anne, Zeena, or someone else with Blade Storm or Double Tap. Use them to finish off enemies, and build Gracie in a way that she will get as many hits off as possible.

Her Proximity Mines is a nice Power, if placed correctly. It could damage two, three, or even four or five enemies with 300-600 Damage! After that, however, all she is left with is mid-damage hits with the occasional Vengeance Strike and Cheap Shot. Her Golem minion is decent, but the quality of minions has plenty of room for improvement. That being said, however, if you find her to be helpful, feel free to use her! Although she has more Epics than many other companions, it is the quality that truly matters in a companion. Without key Epics like Relentless, Flanking, or First Strike, Gracie is certainly not a bad companion at all, but there are many others that rank above her.
