Strategy:
Wing Chun is a great companion due to the sheer number of resources he has available to him. Privateers, generally, do not have such high damage, so making use of his Guaranteed Critical Strike power is a great way to damage an enemy that either has high dodge or is a large threat in the fight.

A good way to start off every fight with him is by using his Call to Arms power; it raises all units' accuracy by 25% on your team for 5 rounds, which can make a large difference of whether or not he, along with your other units, lands a successful hit when you need it most. If the enemies start fairly far away from you, however, you may want to wait a couple of turns so the power does not run out so quickly. Lastly, make good use of his healing power! It will upgrade as he levels up, so, when one of your units is at low health, be ready to heal them up. This can also be used to ready your pirate for the next fight if there are no health wisps in the area.

Choose epics that fit him well and will activate frequently. Blade Storm simply won't trigger enough, and higher tiers of Relentless won't be extremely useful as he is a Privateer, not a Swashbuckler. Relentless 2 would be the best bet, as consecutive hits makes up for his poor base damage. As for the last epic, choose either Repel Boarders or Flanking. Repel Boarders is great for setting off Relentless chains and finishing off enemies who are very low on health, and Flanking is more of a strategic epic, requiring you to effectively move Wing Chun across the battleboard so it will activate frequently enough. However, since your main pirate is a Musketeer and is not fairly mobile, Repel Boarders may work better in the long run. However, if you're up for the challenge, you'll be amazed at how helpful Flanking can be!
